My professional career has provided me with opportunities to work in the community welfare and education sectors. I am able to work from principles of inclusion, equity and social justice. My preferred work model is one that has a holistic and participative ethos. I have taught both in the classroom setting as well as led workshops and been a presenter in Adult Learning settings. I believe I am able to contribute an enthusiastic and energetic presence to team-based work. I am keen to find opportunities that will allow me to explore creative and challenging employment in the human services sector. I use participation in workshops and seminars as my primary educational process. I subscribe to (and read) a wide variety of journals and newsletters from the community and educational sector. I am an active participant in discussion forums online. My research study has included graduate level work in Leadership Studies (ACU McAuley ) and Frontline Management.( Southbank TAFE)
Theological Studies 1972-1979
A course of study undertaken as part of formation for work in the Catholic Church was accredited as a B. Theol in 1978. It included a range of units in specific philosophical and theological studies including units in Counselling, Public Speaking, Communications and Ethics.
